Only upload content you created, content in the public domain, or content you have permission or another lawful right to copy, translate and adapt.

You are responsible for

  • checking copyright, licence and permission requirements;
  • protecting the privacy of people shown or named in uploaded material;
  • reviewing translations and printable output; and
  • ensuring any printing, sharing or distribution is lawful.

Do not use LinguaLayers to

  • infringe copyright, trade marks, privacy or other rights;
  • upload unlawful, abusive, exploitative or seriously harmful content;
  • upload sexual content involving a person under 18;
  • spread malware, interfere with the service or bypass usage or security controls; or
  • misrepresent generated output as a certified professional translation.

Your content and our service

You retain ownership of your uploads. LinguaLayers receives only the limited permission needed to process and store them for your project. LinguaLayers branding, software and website content remain ours or our licensors’ property.

If there is a problem

We may remove content or restrict an account where reasonably necessary to address infringement, illegality or serious harm. Copyright reports and takedown requests are handled under our Contact, Complaints and Takedown Process.
